GROW DEEPER

Calvary Baptist Church's Adult Ministry is designed to help you come to Christ in worship, connect with the church, grow deeper in the Lord with others, serve in the ways God has gifted you, and go spread the Good News.


Be sure to join us in one of our different Sunday School classes on Sunday Morning or for the main services throughout the week. Bring your family for one of many age-level Wednesday night activities, and join us for a dedicated prayer and study time on Wednesday nights.

  • Visitation

    Each week, many of our members gather together, pair up, and go into our community to witness for our Lord Jesus Christ. If you are new we will partner you with someone who will love to do all the talking. Fort Walton is filled with people who need a loving Savior. Join us weekly as we reach our area for Christ.


    Also, our members may come join us for our Gospel Blitz as we go around our neighborhoods delivering the gospel message. Each month we choose a few neighborhoods and hang packets of information, including church information, gospel tracks, activities and much more.

  • Music Ministry

    Calvary Baptist Church's music ministry is centered around God honoring music. Come listen to the singing of uplifting, heart-stirring music from our member choir. The services also contain music presented by various ensembles and soloists. Throughout the year the church will have cantatas featuring the choir and others. If God has blessed your with the talent come be a part of the choir or the orchestra.

  • SUPER saints

    There’s an air of excitement around Calvary, the reason being our senior saints. This group is one of the most active in our church. They enjoy getting together and fellowshipping one with another. The monthly get together will include a delicious meal served and a program to delight all who attend. There will be loads of fun, food, fellowship, and bushels of good humor. Including will be a brief inspirational message presented by one of our pastors or some invited guest.

  • Fellowships

    Throughout the year Calvary Baptist Church holds a variety of fellowships including; an annual International Missions Banquets, Mother/Daughter Banquets, church picnics, annual Horseshoe tournament, and more. The church has retreats for the men, women, and families at Camp Victory in Samson, AL.

  • DISCIPLED VETERAN MINISTRY

    Typically, some veterans have some degree of difficulty adjusting to civilian life after military service. For that reason, crowds and meeting new people are a deterrent to getting them to come to church. Veterans enjoy the comradery of other Veterans and will come to a Veteran meeting at church. Military Veterans understand war. It's an easy transition to help them understand that the only difference in this spiritual war and the physical war of their past is that this war against Satan has eternal ramifications. It is for that reason that they are eager to drag as many as they can from Satan's battlefield, spiritually triage them, and get them into the fight with them. Once a Veteran comes to a Discipled Veteran meeting they tend to come back because they trust the comfort that they see other Veterans enjoy through Jesus Christ. Often Veterans believe forgiveness and peace is impossible but soon , God’s Word and veteran comradery leads to Holy Spirit conviction and salvation.


    The Discipled Veterans Ministry is held every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the academy library.

  • Faith Bible Institute

    . Students will study chronologically through the Bible and systematically  through every major doctrine. FBI combines solid Bible teaching with a interactive DVD video format utilizing student workbooks, chart, 3d maps and images to produce a unique learning experience. Join our students as they study through the Bible. Visit the FBI website for more information.  Classes are done online at your convenience.
